My vacation is when my clutch hatches!!! HELP
    Hi people,

My ball python had a clutch on April 30th
    60 days is June 29th /30th.
I'm leaving on Vacation on June 29th.
What are my options do to this being my first clutch ever
I have the option of taking the incubator with me and the tstat or on june 29th, are they far along enough to hatch without the incubator and I just bring the tub there in?

It is very important for the babies to have high humidity and the right heat at this stage. Do you have anyone at home who can watch over them?

How long will you be gone?

I'm sure they'll be fine for a few days. They've been doing it in the wild for a few years without much help... ;-)

I would try to find someone local who can check on them once a day while you are gone.

Theyll probably have pipped by then, so as long as its humid enough in there you should be fine. I have the same dilemma coming up...my babes may start pipping before I get back! Happened last year too lol

If they start to pip before you leave. Set them up in the egg, on a damp paper towel with a water bowl in the tub and everything should be just fine, They've been hatching on their own for millions of years. just make sure they have water to drink when they come out and they'll be just fine.

The only risk is if there is any kind of yolk problem.
