    Atlanta Repticon?
How many of you go to the Atlanta Repticon? Is it a good show? I used to go to the one in Tampa which is awesome, but we moved and it is too far away now. Atlanta is about 4 hours away so is still reasonable to go to but I wanted some encouragement to go before a make that hike. The map of vendors and tables looks like it is close to the same size as the Tampa show. Input?

I went to a couple of Atlanta Repticon 2-3 years ago. They were pretty decent shows. Mostly BPs and boas with a few pythons and colubrids. I did get some supplies. I don't know if I'd drive 4 hours.

I don't see a point in going to any shows especially if you have to drive 4 hours to get there. You can get anything you want online

You don't have to pay for shipping at the expos. The other thing is if you want to barter for what you want you can get good deals at expos. Not to mention just networking and making contacts up close and face to face. You can also photograph animals you may not find online as well. Just a different experience. Make a nice weekend trip out of it with family and or friends.

Plus, it is really hard to impulse buy a snake online, just because you saw it and loved it.

That may be a plus or minus, depending.

I like to make a trip of it. 4 hours is really not that far. My job requires a lot of in state travel so I am more than used to driving a couple hundred miles a day. I like to meet the people, see everything alive and in person. And yes, barter, barter, barter.
