    BP drinking habits
I've been doing a lot of looking around recently and pretty much everyone says their Ball Python doesn't drink often/they rarely see it drink. But my Ball Python? He drinks all the time and produces more urine than he does uric acid. He has two hides and every now and then he will go to the other hide to cool down/warm up but on his way to the opposite hide he will always drink. Don't get me wrong, he's a very healthy, hydrated boy. But should I be worrying about this? I'd say he drinks at least once every day, if not, every other day.

The only time I see mine drink is once or twice a week. And that's mainly after feeding. I like to think it's to get the nasties (to be polite) out they mouth. Other wise it's early in the morning before leaving for work when checking on them.

Just another note, because I forgot to mention it and I can't edit it anymore:

    Humidity: 50-55%
    Temperature: Min 87F Max 91F

Your temps are way too hot. If you are going to have a heat gradient you need to make sure the snake has an area of respite that is in the low 80s/high 70s. I would adjust this ASAP.

You're right, but that was an error on my part!
    I mean 77F, not 87F...

Mine will only drink FRESH water, and I mean fresh. If I clean his bowl and refill it he'll come right and and take a long drink. But the next day, well by then it must be stale. He'll come out and rest his head on the edge of the bowl and look at it, then stare at me as if to say "Hey, this is unacceptable for a Royal beast like me". He also seems to prefer deer park spring water :/

He won't touch filtered tap water, so he gets the good stuff. What I buy for myself he shares. If I don't get deer park that week, then he is much less interested in drinking. He'll stare at it a while, touch it to his tongue, maybe take a short sip. If I do, there is no hesitation, he will drink as soon as I've put the bowl down. Luckily the cats are not as picky and must have lower standards - filtered tap water is fine with them

(I admit that I don't change his water every day, usually every other, and his royal highness just has to deal with it)
