    Too Young?
I'm considering purchasing a BP (as a pet), at the moment he is 2 weeks old and will be available in two weeks at just over 4 weeks old (he would have had about 5 feeds and 2 sheds by then). I will be receiving him by courier, is this too much stress for a snake of this age? I'm looking forward to becoming a BP owner (he is a Pumpkin Pied morph), but am just worried that he is too young? :confusd:

If he has really eaten that many times he should be fine.

There is no guarantee that the animal will have ate that many time by age 4 weeks. You can guarantee what has happened not what has not, things do not always go as planned. So the first thing you should do is get the animal when he is well established and have fed at least 5 consecutive time might be in 2 weeks might be longer.

What does that mean, is the animal delivered via FedEx Priority overnight?

And no an animal tht young is not too young to be shipped, but you must ensure that you get a well started animal and that your setup is ready and optimal.

Thanks for the quick reply, so far (at 2 weeks) he has shed once and eaten twice. I live in the UK so by courier I mean a company that delivers the snake (in a thermoregulated van) which takes 1-5 days (generally averaging at 1-2 days).

They have vans made for specifically delivering reptiles with heat and everything?! That's pretty neat!

Thermo regulated... probably by day... I would do my best to ensure the animal gets to you the least amount of time as possible. It will cost more, but it's worth it.
