Yeah... Something similar happened to me too. My girlfriend was actually giving me suggestions on enclosures for the little guy :P

I'm definitely not complaining. It is funny though since I still live with my family I had to convince them for the first retic girl. Didn't take much and they all like the big guys so it wasn't really hard. But the limit was one giant. They dragged me away from a baby albino burm at the show but then couldn't resist the retics from Jay. Even more amusing was the fact that my mother was like well you have a credit card you could have just put that other expensive retic you really liked on it. Apparently, I'm the one that has to do the resisting now...not sure how that is going to work out:rofl:

I'm pretty sure everyone just rolls their eyes when I say I'm done no more.

Reptile shows are the worse. We have one coming up in about two weeks. The only way I want get something is to not go. That's next to impossible for me. You have the added problem of having family members to encourage your addiction. There is no hope for you. Your new reticlated Python looks great by the way.:)

My wife is the worst enabler in the world. Almost got me to buy a female peruvian from a pet store that I'm kinda suspecting was a guyana... And now wants to look into retics as well. Lol well at least its a good enabler... i guess haha.


Btw that is a gorgeous retic. Definitely going to wind up with one sooner or later.

Perdy girl! There were tons of retics at the pgh show yesterday. I was pretty surprised really. Was hoping to pick up a burm but decided to hold off and save for a nicer morph.
