    Snake Shed. please help
My snake went into shed without me knowing. I fed her last tuesday (saw no shed signs) then left for a week, came back on tuesday fed her again. I left her in her tank for 3 days so she can digest. I had no idea she was shedding she looked normal to me. Today I open her hide to see her shed laying next to her. I was surprised so I examined her and her shed. I noticed a light pink spot on her head and I noticed that the head of her shed was seperated from the rest of the shed. Did I injure my snake?

Looks like a minor rub or maybe a rat bite if you feed live. Nothing to worry about, the scales will fill back in over time.

Don't worry about the ripped shed. Sometimes they catch it on something and the shed tears. As a shed dries it also gets more brittle, so damage to it can also happen post-shed. Cool as an intact, pretty shed is, a damaged one is no big deal as long as the animal looks good and didn't have problems getting rid of it

And then there was the shed my carpet Python pooped in. I didn't even consider looking it over. [emoji1]
