    Sudden death after laying.
This year I was very excited to breed a Woma het Ghost female for the first time. I had purchased her as a baby, years ago, and she finally surpassed 1500g this spring.
I paired her with two males this year. A Hypo-Black Pastel, and a Super Pastel Super Vanilla. They both showed locks, and she seemed perfectly healthy through her pregnancy.
She laid last week, 5 big fat eggs. In the incubator they went, and she went into a new, clean tub. She did not take food this week, which didn't seem surprising to us, especially having just laid.

Almost immediately, the eggs started turning blue, and after 3 days, it was apparent that all but 1 of them were dead. They were disposed of, and we will keep a close eye on the last.
This has never happened to us, so we kept a close eye on her.
She had a couple nasty defecation/urinations. But we thought this may have just been the usual post pregnancy gross-ness.

This evening I checked on her, and she was dead. Stone dead. There was another of the abnormal poops in the tub, both other than that, she still looked perfectly healthy and normal. Not thin, or
    any other symptoms.

Anyway, I was just curious if anyone had had an experience like this, or had any input.
I will really miss this girl.

Very sad story from Momma to eggs. :( I'm sorry for your loss and keeping fingers crossed for that one egg.

Sorry for your loss. How long have you had the males? Has she ever been introduced to either of the two before this breeding season? I suggest a necropsy on the female and fecals for the males.

Both males have been in my collection over a year.

Horrible news. Hopefully the one egg makes it. Really sorry to hear this.

Could be an asymptomatic carrier for something nasty that wreaked havoc on your female. Just my thought/input on the situation and what I'd personally be checking into - if for no other reason than to rule it out.

I have no idea what could have caused something like this, but you have my condolences. I know how horrible it can be to lose a pet.
