How long can BP's survive cold temperatures?

So I can't have my snake delivered to me, Instead to my brother (Personal reasons). My brother lives half an hour away from me. My car gets pretty chill due to the warm weather of the Florida climate. So can he survive a half an hour drive in a cold car? Or do i turn off the A/C and pull down the windows?

She'll be much better off in a car that's on the cooler side than she would in a car that's warm.

If your car is newer and has an air conditioner that can make popsicles ;), I'd just turn the air to a less cold setting. But mostly, if you're comfortable it shouldn't be a dangerous temp for short term.

I live in Florida and have driven snakes home from 2 hours away, they'll be just fine. I don't point the ac vents right at them and if I did want to make the car chilly I'd just try to put them on a seat where the sun comes in (the box/bag, not the snake out in the open obviously). The sun coming through the windows gives off a decent amount of heat.

They make car power inverters so you can plug in a heat mat and a dimmer into it. It wouldn't make much since to get one for a one time thing but they can also be used for lots of other things such as plugging TV and video game systems etc for you or your kids for long drives to a vacation or something. I have the one in the link below.

I've used it for the reasons above and to transport herps. I leave it in my vehicle and if I'm going to a pet shop or somewhere similar I load up a dimmer, extra heat mat, and tub bc I never know what I'll come home with lol.

Also if you ever move far away you could power multiple setups including thermostats and everything right from your car as long as you stay within the power inverter watt rating.

It should be shipped to you in an insulated box. Just put it in it's insulated box and the AC shouldn't even reach it. Don't leave it in the car even to run inside a store though.

Never thought about that and I'm not positive but maybe even a 40hr reptile heat pack with the snake also. Lol it's probably not worth it to get the power inverter unless you will put it to use more than just this one time but at least you know now!
