Is this Normal?

One of my snakes is rubber her head and sometimes her body mostly on the glass in the tank like she's shedding, but she doesn't look like she'll shed? Eyes aren't glossed over, no pink belly, and one major notice that she's about to shed is on the tip of her tail becomes cloudy.
I've only seen her do this when she's trying to shed.
Any advice/opinions? I can take pictures of her if needed.

My snakes did that when they were younger. Probably just exploring.

True, now that i'm certain that the temp and humidity are at least almost right. (battling humidity still, likes to stay at 40-50%, mostly at 40%. Hoping that settles when I put some bedding like aspen or eco earch, etc, in there). Could be that she's hungry, or maybe even a pre- lay shed? Not sure if she'll lay or not, all I know was that for a while she was caged with a male for a while, etc. Although, I'm not sure how pre-lay sheds and all that goes so..

They aren't active If they're about to lay. Maybe just hungry or you're stressing her out having another snake with her all the time

I moved the male out about a month and a half ago or so by now, long story why they got caged together and it wasn't my doing... I'm going with that she's hungry then..
edit: the hygrometer says it's right at 60%

What kind of hygrometer are you using? Also aspen isn't good for humidity so I would look into other options.

Its a cheapy one off from ebay. Works good though(i like it better than the ones from the petstores). Right now i have paper towls down, and was thinking of doing part aspen and eco earth (since i have both anyway). Maybe add some mulch in the eco earth? I dont need it too much higher in any of my set up.

If you need to up the humidity still, have you tried using a larger water bowl (wide&shallow) if the space allows it, and moved it to the warm side of the enclosure?

Yep, although in one I can have a bigger water bowl but probably not when I add what I want to in it(more hides mostly) and they're all centered mostly, hers is slightly moved towards the warm side.

Acurite 00891 is a thermometer/hygrometer you may want to look into. They cost $12 on amazon and some Walmarts carry them. They have a probe you can put on hot side and then the whole unit can sit on the cool side for cool temp and humidity. I have done salt tests and temp tests on the 3 of the ones I have and when I buy new ones I'll put them next to the ones I tested and they have all been spot on except for 1 that read -40 which acurite replaced for free. Then of course I sterilized before putting in another herps enclosure. I currently own 11 of them lol.
