    Is there a difference? I really don't see anything whatsoever. It's like some person said they're different just because a slight difference. The only difference I see Is that one is slightly darker and the other is slightly lighter.

    There is a difference, but in name only. They are the same morph, only proven at around the same time by two different people. Any other difference found is simply variation within the morph.

    It's sort of like the lesser/butter debate, believed by some to just be two different lines of the same gene. Something that speaks to this theory for the banana/cg gene to me is that they both have the male maker/female maker thing going on, and no other morph does.

    Same thing different lines, the color variation varies from one individual to another even in the same clutch.

    Interesting. Coral glows can make only one specific gender depending on the sire?

    Coral Glow and Banana work the same way.


    Female Bananas or CG produce normal sex ratios.

    As for males, a male from a male Banana or CG sire will be a male maker. A male from a female Banana / CG Dam will be a female maker.
