    Do ringers mean anything?
At the beginning of the month, I got my first BP, from PetSmart(labeled as a normal lol). He's a pretty pastel, but I was wondering if ringers meant anything. He's got a really prominent one on his tail, I noticed. Does it mean that he's het pied or something?

I won't really know until a few years. A friend of mine has a really good looking lesser pied girl that we're gonna pair him with.

Ringers dont necessarily mean het pied. There are some reactive genes and combos like champagne, disco inferno and clown stuff that throw ringers from time to time, with certainty of NOT having any pied in them.

Looking at your pastel, i'd still bet money on it that he is in fact a Het pied! Ringers occur for a reason, you know. But you cannot be certain until you breed it out.

    Cheers
