Does breeding ball pythons limit handling or keeping them as pets?
Does breeding ball pythons limit handling or keeping them as pets? I'm really concerned about this, I want to breed my own, yet I still want them to be my pets. Does It affect keep them as pets In any way?

Once my females are gravid I pretty much leave them alone except the handling required for maintenance. The only exception to that is if a female demonstrates any kind of pissyness. In this case I will "handle" them in the tub. I always strive to keep my animals as tame as possible. My males I always handle normally whether they are breeding or not.

The line drawn between pet vs. not a pet is entirely your own. Of course you can breed them and still consider them pets and a part of the family!
