    Interesting Idea
so recently I picked up a female Paradigm Boa!
I currently have her in a 4x2x1 plastic cage which is perfect for her size(She's about 8 months old and 3 feet long 180ish grams).

I can tell she's going to be a big girl so I'm thinking of an 8'x2'x1 or 2' for her. However it's expensive. I'll spend the money without a doubt for my baby but I'd like to run this by the DIY guys.

Has anyone taken two 4x2 cages such as T8s and cut out all but a half to a full inch of one of the side walls and connected them?
It'd effectively make an 8ft cage with a good separation of hot/cool side, but very structurally sound in the middle, and give her the room needed.
All at about 1/2 - 1/3 of the price.

OH I should probably post pictures of her in the boa forum since I haven't introduced her yet!
