Ugly Pastel or Pretty Normal?
You be the judge! He was just labeled "fancy" (but oddly, did not come with top hat and monocle...). Also, thoughts on his weight? I'm used to lithe noodle corns; this will be my first chunkalicious ball. Link to FB album since it won't let me insert pics:

Re: Ugly Pastel or Pretty Normal?
I'm guessing this is a petsmart/petco pickup? Looks like a regular pastel to me, but I'm not great at identifying morphs. As for weight, he looks a bit thin (kind of triangle shaped versus round), but if he's from a big box store that is not uncommon. They typically way under feed. Get some proper sized food in him and he'll plump right up. Congrats on the little noddle.
I just complained to a petco store manager that the ball python they had was so thin it looked like it was close to death. They told me he was eating fine (1 mouse pinky every Sunday:mad:) I explained what they were doing was wrong, how it should be fed/housed, that it was animal abuse, and not ethical to sell an animal in that condition, told them I'd be contacting corporate, and that they had lost all my business and my families. They just started carrying snakes about 4 months ago, so I'm guessing this was one of the first too.

I think he's a decent looking pastel. He has great coloration and a unique pattern for a pastel. Is he young? That may be why he's a bit small.

Markings on belly and near the belly
Someone said that the lighter black colour on their belly's meant het albino
I also saw some small white spots towards the belly, and that's what someone else told me was het albino.
Anyways, just mine/their observations, as are y'all's, only way to know is to have it proven?
