So for those of you who saw my thread about Pet Smart, I went back today and took a look at what they had. The banana I was discussing in that thread turns out to be a female, for $350. I'd be lying if I said that after seeing her again today I wasn't slightly toying with the idea. She seems a tad light to me (I edited the photo to better reflect her colors in person so that's pretty accurate), so I'm wondering if there is more going on with her genes than they say, but I haven't met a lot of bananas. Maybe she's just a light individual.

The cages at this location are very clean and well kept and the animals are very clean and healthy. They also had another snake which I was curious as to what morph it is. I can't quite place it, and was just curious if anyone could tell me.

Also go in and offer a lower price to petsmart? Haggling sometimes works and if you get a healthy female banana for lower than 300 it could be a steal. Make sure it is actually a female, doesn't wheeze, and seems healthy. I'm not sure they get a lot of people trying to buy expensive snakes so it could work. Petsmart is not a particularly reputable place but it could be a diamond in the rough

I thought maybe some sort of pastel when I looked at it, but it doesn't look quite like any of the examples I've seen.

Also, here's another pic of the banana. What's interesting to me is that her patterning and blushing doesn't seem...exactly like they should? Look at the alien heads.

I just picked up a banana from a breeder and his sides don't look anything like that, and neither do any photos I see online? He also doesn't have blushing like that, also not something I'm seeing online. Maybe she's just a really weird banana.

To me it looks kinda like this one http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...ba24ad6098.jpg or this http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...fb12a9f895.jpg

Obviously there are some differences but the faded brown on top and nd yellowish spots make it seem like that to me. Could also be a regular Pastel that is a bit weird. There are tons of pastels and they can be pretty varied I've found

I don't think the pattern is yellow enough to be a butter honestly
