Can males live together?

Very simple, can male ASF live together?

Depends, with rodent colony males can live together IF

They have been together since a very young age (before being weaned preferably) and have never been exposed to females. Otherwise they will fight which can be deadly.

Damn. Would it be worth it to breed?

I have 3 tanks of ASF's, 2 are females with a male in it at times, then after the litters are weened I sex them and put all the males in the 3rd tank. I start with the 3rd tank of male ASF's first on feeding day to try to get rid of the excess males first.

Some people swear by them, I don't none of my snake have ever cared for them, plus they are the spawn of evil for the most part, little ones jump 3 feet in the air and after that good luck to catch or find them.

I have two males and five females in a 40 gallon glass tank, no problems at all. The lady I got them from put them all together from different tubs too. Although I have one male female pair in there that's much older than the rest and just had their first litter, not sure if the age difference helps. I can pet my ASFs and they are not mean at all, just put a couple wheels in their cage and they will be so obsessed to run on the wheel that they ignore pretty much everything else LOL. Although I did have problems with them killing a lot of the first babies so just moved out the female today with the last of her young. Probably best to move out the females and isolate as they have young. I'm using 10 gallon tanks for that.

We brought home a male but my snake wouldn't eat him so my fiancee wants to keep him because he doesn't mind being held or petted at all 😂😂😂

oI have bred them for 5 years, as long as there are no females in the tank you should be ok. A piece of wood to chew on and/or a wheel are good. I would never break up a colony or try to reintroduce any back in. Better off letting a baby grow into the colony.
