Any advice
Hello, my name is Hector i have kept many types of animals but currently i keep reptiles. I keep a tortoise, Jannet, she is the love of my life. I have been wanting a ball python. i have done a ton of reaserch and i want to get one online and house it in a 28 qt. tub with newspaper as a substrate, a heating pad, water bowl, and a hide. My questions are: can i get it from uderground reptiles and if you have any important info you think i should know about them go ahead and tell me. ( i am planning on getting a male)

Don't forget the thermostat. As far as Underground goes, I have bought stuff from them directly. Their in-store service is pretty good and they take good care of their animals from what I can see. If you are going to buy online though, you might want to shop around a bit for a larger selection. As far as customer service goes I have had good experience with all that I have dealt with outside of one vendor. royalconstrictordesigns.com and ralph davis reptiles were the two that really stood out as top of the heap.
BTW there are some really good folks on here as well. If you know what you want post it in the wanted section. Some of the "small" breeders on here are producing some really nice stuff.

First, you will need a thermostat to regulate the under-tank heater.
Second, if you're using just a 28-qt tub get one with the latching handles so the lid stays on securely. Snakes are strong and can push lids up from the inside.
Finally, if you are purchasing a critter online I wrote up a how-to-not-get-ripped-off post a while back. Pay particular attention to the portion about researching the seller.
