Nero, my pastel boy

Nero has more than doubled since I picked him up as an underweight dehydrated little worm. He was a yearling and the same size as our 5 month old, but woth a massive dome lol. He's finally grown into his head and has become quite the handsome little man [emoji173] He has as AP T8 on the way since he's working on outgrowing his current enclosure. He just can't seem to figure out why he doesn't fit in his hides anymore. A little dremel work to make the entry a bit bigger and he can finally squeeze in, but the T8 can't get here soon enough!

I figure it's time for an update on Nero! He's doing great and seems to love his T8. His growth has been a bit slow lately, getting him to eat a rat is almost impossible! But if he thinks he can chow down on mice his whole life, he's got another thing coming.

My little Nero has started his winter fast. I didn't expect him to go off feed, since he's only a year and a half, but he hasn't lost a gram in the past 2 months.

I know! A year ago he was hardly bigger than a hatchling, now he's about 3 ft! It brings a tear to my eye. They grow up so quick.
