    Got another one! Progression Thread
    Meet my new "Rescue" boy

    https://i.quotev.com/img/q/u/16/5/12...5169a-IMG-.jpg

I'm guessing he is a mojave morph, and he is less than a year old.
The people who had him live across the road from us, saw I had snakes and got one for their 7 year old kid. In a few months, the kid got bored, and they gave it to us for free, as managing 5 younger children and a whole load of animals, the snake got overlooked mostly.

When I got him, his cage was absolutely filthy. The snake had gone off feed a few months ago, probably due to being kept in a busy area of the house and incorrect teperatures, and has lost some weight. I need to weigh him again, but whe I last weighed him when the family was on holiday (I had to look after their rabbits, so I did a little snake caring too) and he was about 509g. I'm going to be weighing him again on tuesday before I try him on a rat.

Today, after 2 days of getting him, I completely cleaned out the viv. There was atleast 6 lumps of pee in there. I F10'd everything, and replaced the substrate with aspen. He was on some type of thin sawdust stuff before. The snake sat with my brother at the while I was cleaning and became a super cute little snakey bracelet on his wrist :)

I will post some pictures after feeding day, as well as his updated weights. Hopefully he will eat and start to gain some weight!

Also he needs a name, so suggestions are needed :P

*endless envy* he's beautifulllllllll! Congratulations! As for names, he looks like clouds at night, maybe Orion, Ceres, Eos? Callisto? Either way, good luck with your new addition :)

    Update!

No feeding yet. I offered him a rat, but he didnt take it. We also tried him on a hamster we brought, but no luck with that either. His weight is 500g. He is doing better though, no trying to get away every time I open the tank. Being in a less stressful enviroment must be helping him a lot. Hopefully he would eat soon!
Also, Ive named him Meeko, because I feel like it suits his shyness and he is just so cute and tiny :)
