Looks like a nice pastel :)
Super pastels heads are usually more blushed out.

Ok was just trying to help out someone. The pairing was 1.0 Bumblebee and 0.1 Ruppel pastel if that even makes a difference. It was labeled as a super and the yellow in the pattern is a lot brighter in person than in the pic. I'm still learning genetics so I'm not very good at identifying things. The head and pattern looks more blushed in person as well but its still not nearly as blushed as my super but I didn't know if the blushing was a 100% thing in all supers.

When you see a super there is no confusion between them.

So someone threw their name on a pastel again? LoL
    Pastel is a pastel.

    Pastel is a pastel.

A guy I work with has the snake in the picture and I told him before he even bought it 2 months ago that I thought it was just pastel and I also let him see my super pastel for comparison and it didn't even come close. But since morphs and genetics is something I'm still learning he had his doubts in me and trusted the breeder. The breeder discounted it so he bought it for the price of a pastel.

How would you complain to a breeder about a pastel labeled as a super pastel priced as a pastel? Lol...he didn't get ripped off he just didn't get the deal he thought

You don't show a top shot, is there any blushing on the back pattern?
Not all supers have the really washed out head but most do and it's the easiest tell-tale sign.
I have a super with tons of body blushing but with just her head, it would be hard to tell (I trust the breeder).
Personally, based on the photos, I'd say that one is a pastel.

Is he wanting to get money back? If he's happy with the deal regardless, he could make a statement that he doesn't see it as a super, ask the breeder why they think it is, ask for pictures of the entire clutch and parents (to prove the parents are what he said they were and to compare to the littermates).

    Re: Pastel or Super Pastel?
So I sent an email to the breeder for the guy I work with and this was the response.....

I can assure you he is a super pastel. When he hatched out he looked like any other super pastel you will see. His mother is a ruppel pastel which is an usual darker looking pastel so I figured he would darken up more than other super pastels.
