    Most accurate thermostat?
So what brand do you guys think is the most accurate thermostat? I really don't want my snake getting burned by the UTH, so I need one that's very accurate.

If you can afford it, the herpstats from Spyder Robotics is one of the best out there.

I've had no problems with habistat pulses. Dont like mat stats too much fluctuation, they work but I think it must be nicer for rep to have a steady temp.

Jack of all trades, master of none.

Depends where you live. If you live in the USA or Canada Herpstat have more features for the money. I have a Herpstat 6 and love it. I just got a heck of a deal on 4 slightly used Vivarium Electronics including 2 ve-200 1 ve-200D and 1 ve-300. I haven't tested them out but the reviews I see are great and hold temps just as good as a Herpstat. They don't have as many features as Herpstats but I hear there really reliable and a little cheaper with free shipping from reptile basics. The features that the VE leaves out are ones I don't use on my Herpstat anyways except for hi/low alarms but the ve-300 has the alarms but the other models don't. VE also has a higher watt rating than Herpstat. Reptile basics wouldn't do you wrong either. I won't be setting up one of the VE thermostats for another month or I would give you a side by side comparison. I would say if you have the money get a Herpstat 1 but if you can do without the features and want to save yourself $30 buy a VE-200 or VE-200D. Neither one of these brands will disappoint you.

If you live in the UK or something I can't give you much info there but I hear habistats are great! I would get a dimming model.
