Hello, sorry I dropped off the face of the planet!

Dear forum members, my sincere apologies for not having been on in such a long time. The old timers will know who I am, I hope:D

Unfortunately for me I do not have my BP's with me anymore. I was forced to give them up(those who have had to will know the extent of the heart break) because I got laid of from my department(go watch Office Space). As as result, I also lost my apartment and my car:( I lost a lot of other things, but I will not post those issues on a public forum;)

Last year I made the decision to return to the country where I was born(Sri Lanka) only to watch the news about the Tsunami wiping out of what used to be my home town:( So, here I am, currently unemployed and studying for Java programer certification. Hope fully I will have a job pretty soon and will be able to get back into herps again.

P.S I thank Jamin for inquiring about me. Thanks man, I truly appreciate it and it made me wanna post again.

Nice to see ya Raj! It has been awhile. Glad to see you back, but I am sorry for your hardships.. I know what it is like to lose because of hardship. Keep your chin up man, it will get better. This coming from a person who was once homeless a few years back with children and no help out there for us.. we have made it and are OK. Just takes time.

Per your post, you are looking forward to getting back into herps, keep that in mind, it always helps to look forward to the good things we would like to accomplish and have again. Thats what kept us going at our worst.

Hope to see you around again more often. You and yours are in my prayers.

Ice- you're the man. I'm very sorry to hear of all of the bad things that have happened. It's always the good ones right? I have full faith you'll pull through buddy - just keep your chin up and don't lose that sense of humor! :)

Raj, I am truly sorry for all that you have lost but it is my belief that you will come out on the other end of it better than you were going into it. I hope & pray that everything works out. Never give up, keep believing & you will make it through!

We do miss you! I'm sorry everything isn't going very well, but hopefully things will turn around for you soon. You know, once you feel like you've hit rock bottom, the only way to go is back up, right? :) You're in our thoughts Raj! Good luck to you, hun.

hey Iceman!!! I remeber you from way back when i first came to this site(i think, i am almost 99.9% positive) I am really sorry about the losses and problems you have come by but if anyone knows i know that it's best to keep striving for better day so when that day comes you'll feel more fulfilled than ever before(actually my mom always says that to me lol) I really hope things go well for you Raj and wish you best of luck in all your pursuits(except illegal ones lol)

I've wondered a number of times where you were, Raj, and hoped your absence was due to something good. I am sorry for the difficulties that you're going through. It seems like life can throw a lot at us at once and ask us to sink or swim. I'll be sending good thoughts your way and hoping it turns for the better sooner rather than later.

Lo Marla, long time no see:) I too, have often wondered about you and most of the forum members. I am glad to see that things have gone really well for the forums! It looks fantastic! I hope to be able to contribute again someday, provided I can "swim" my way out of this predicament. Thanks for your kind and wise words. Every bit helps me, I'm sure.
