    moving to new enclosure
I have a sterilite 25qt tub that I will be moving my bp into this Friday. It's been up and running for a week now and all numbers look good. He is currently in a 20L and I'm tired of the glass aquariums. The layout of his hides and water bowl and the few fake plants I have will be set up just like they currently are. I am however changing to unprinted newspaper from reptichip. The reptichip holds humidty to 75-80% and there's about 50-60 small holes. My question is when I move him should I treat it just like a new snake and leave him alone for a week or so to settle in? Can I try and feed him on his feeding day which would be sunday?

The reason for the switch is simply I'm tired of cleaning aquariums. I'm currently breaking down a 150g reef tank and getting rid of it. Anyway thanks for the help.

Not sure there's a real hard and fast answer. Since this is an established animal in your care, the change may not cause him much stress at all. If it were me, I would offer food on his normal feeding day, but I wouldn't worry about it if he happens to refuse.

It will help that it will be set up same so it feels familiar. I would try feeding on his feeding day. If he eats great if not wait until the next feeding day. Some bp are really sensitive to change, I've heard of refusals just bc of a substrate change and even some from fresh substrate. Whether he eats or not don't worry!
