2 small rats or 1 medium?

If i cant get my female 900 gram bp to eat f/t or p/k should i feed her 2 live small rats a week or 1 live medium a week? I think id feel more comfortable feeding 2 smalls for safety reasons. Is 1 small a week enough? Also can bps be on smalls for ever or will they eventually need mediums?

Is small the biggest anyone feeds?

I feed my boys smalls weekly. My females get mediums weekly as soon as they are big enough to take them. Between the winter "I am not going to eat phase" and shedding it probably actually works out to somewhere between 2 and 3 mediums a month. If you want them to eat a little more regular, you can feed smaller. I do not mind them going off food if they are healthy, it is natural.

1 small a week would be sufficient for a 900g bp. :)
