Egg roll out s and hatch rate?????
I just got my second clutch every today. I was at work when she laid them. She laid 4 eggs no slugs. She was coiled around two of the four and they felt pretty warm. The other two she had laying next to her on both sides. Those two didn't feel real warm. But I candled them and they all four had veins. Will those roll out eggs have the same chance of hatching as other two or will they be less likely to make it?

Depends if the egg roll out happens within the first 24 hours of being laid, they will generally hatched just fine. If the roll out occur later the egg is likely to go bad.

Just keep checking you will know pretty fast.

I had three roll outs that are on day 37 of incubation with no indication that they've been affected. Good luck!

I incubate all of my rollouts and they usually hatch fine, I always candle them to make sure the yolks are on the bottom when I set them up in the incubator

I had my first clutch ever laid on March 28, 10 beautiful eggs of which 1 was a roll out, now 4,5 weeks later the roll out still looks as good as the other eggs.

I candled all the eggs when they where laid and all candled with good veins including the roll out and I placed the roll out in the incubator the way I found it.

I realize it is to early to say the egg will make it but it looks like it is doing as fine as the other 9.

1 thing that might be important, the veins on the roll out where on the upper side of the egg, just like with the other eggs.
