I think they like their new home...
Well...last night I was sitting at my computer and looked over at the 2 female mice and babies that I had cramped up in a 10g aquarium.... I was about to just start seperating out the older babies to go into a small rubbermaid and I realized....hey I have really big rubbermaid ready to go(this is the one I had used for Thor). So I switched them all over to the 33'' x 13 '' x 12'' rubbermaid and I think they like it. Here is a pic ...I clean all the time...but the mice like to rearrange things.....so sorry about the mess :)

Hahah.....there are 24 mice in that enclosure.....but only one was in the pic

Cool; 2 water bottles is ultra-luxurious in the mouse world. :)
My friend has her mice set up in a large farm-animal type water trough (it's actually made by rubbermaid, kinda like a supersized rmaid comtainer, hehe.) They are much mroe economical than crappy 10g tanks (which I use.)

That looks like a really nice set-up Daniel. How old are the babies now? Years and years ago I had two breeding female rats in one big cage (they were sisters) and one used to steal some of the other ones babies to nurse and fuss over. Do your moms do that?

Must be Move a Rodent Day LOL. I just this minute got done moving my two male rats and my one female rat into different cages (gave them a bunch of new things to keep them busy too....amazing what you can find around the house to amuse rats with).

I do hope you've got a lid on there.. otherwise you may only have 1 mouse. :)

One batch of babies is hit 3 weeks today, and the other is about 2 weeks.

Yep they would do that all the time when the babies were 3-7 days old.

Nice, i had a big setup like that but as wierd as it sounds, to me its easier for me to clean a bunch of small tanks than one big one.

I stopped keeping track of the babies ages, i just kill them when they are big enough.

I have 4 mommas with babies and one who is pregnant.

Like ive said before, im getting out of breeding most likely, im just waiting for these babies to get a little fatter, them im just going to keep two mice (sisters) and borrow my friends male every so often and get them pregnant.
