    Anybody use these PVC cages?
I need to order a 4x2x2 soon. All of my other enclosures are from AP but I like the price point and perch kits from pvccages.com . Anybody have experience with this company?

I am wanting to know the same thing. I want to order one for my Carpet. They seem comparable on price to AP. I just didn't want to wait for so long for AP shipping. Let me know if you get one. I don't need it quite yet.

My GTP is in one. It is my favorite cage I have. I got the preassembled 24x24x20 with glass doors, rhp, and perches. It arrived in plug and play condition and has been outstanding. It is a thick material and extremely sturdy.

I think mine was in stock when I ordered it and I got it within a week ready to go.

I will be using them again.

I am glad to hear this. :) Because their website in unappealing to me. I don't know if it is the navigation, pictures, or lack of, or not being straightforward, i.e., too many unanswered questions, or all of the above. The site just doesn't click with me.

I will now reconsider them for my next enclosure.

Perches are easy to make on your own.

I use Pro-Line cages from Constrictors NW.

I order the perch holders from them, which are $15 for a set of 3, (6 V style holders) but I have also gone to the hardware store and bought much larger holders for tree branches I use as perches.

The Pro-Line cage price INCLUDES delivery and is not much different from AP when all is said and done.

The plastic is HDPE and is excellent, but you can do all of these mods in an AP cage too.

    This is my carpet cage. 4 x 2 x 2.

The boa cage has a huge branch in it. To mount the bigger branches I went to Home Depot and looked at closet rod holders.

I use fake foliage to cover anything that looks "industrial" in the cage. That is purely for my viewing as the snake doesn't care.

One more shot of the carpet cage. I mix real branches with 2" thick dowels wrapped in fake vines.

    Zig,

I know you are a carpet guru and I think you'll really enjoy setting up your own perches.

The cage maker really isn't the factor. It's what you are willing and able to do.

The snakes WILL use the perches.

@ Gio- You have no idea how bad my DIY skills are. I have other talents but building and assembling things is my kryptonite :). Luckily my brother is a wiz at that stuff and always willing to help. Your enclosures look great G. I wish you lived close enough to help me decorate mine. :)
I did notice that the plastic on the pvccages.com enclosures isn't as thick as the AP cages (3/8" vs 1/2"). I think when it's all said and done I'll probably stick with AP. I have 4 of them now and love them. If it aint broke.
I love getting new snakes but I've got to control the impulse buys. The snake is usually pretty affordable but then come the nice pvc enclosures, thermostats, rhps, perch kits, etc. These things start to add up. Now that I've got most of the critters I want, I'll start progressively working on the enclosure upgrades. I figure I'll need one 4x2 this year and 1 or 2 more next year. I need a raise!!!
