They both look like nice looking normals.. Nothin wrong w that. Did the petshop say they were morphs?

Snake 2 has a belly with no spots and was sold as a pastel snake 1 said was sold as a fancy but has spots on her belly so i assumed was a normal but unsure

If it has a clear belly its probably a pastel. The first one doesn't really look like any morph. What the heck is a fancy? lol Another pet shop marketing scheme to sell normals for more money I guess

They call them fancies when they're not sure of morph but do know that they're not wild type/normal.

The light eyes on both make me think pastel

I see some green eyed monsters so I would say pastel for both.

Fancy is typically what big box pet stores call normals, its a marketing ploy. If a petshop has morphs, believe me, they will know this. Just as I have seen leopard geckos labeled as fancy geckos.

Every Petsmart that I have been to (I think 4 different ones) has had "ball python" and "fancy ball python" labeled and priced differently. I'm not sure about local pet shops because there is only one where I live that sells snakes.

Edit: and the less BP-educated employees seem to know the morphs as "fancies". One lesser was affectionately referred to as "the gold fancy" at a Petsmart I visited recently. She didn't know it was a lesser but she knew it was a morph.

I think for the first ball python we would need different photos. The second snake is definitely pastel. The browning out and green eyes give it away.
