Handling new arrivals and other things lol
So my butter and cinnabee have been with me 3 weeks today.
Since they arise, both have pooped, butter has shed and both have eaten ( cinnabee has always been assist fed according to previous owner but she has struck fed like a good one for me so far yay )
In the 3 weeks they have been here the butter has gained 79g and cinnabee 88g.
I know the general concensus seems to be to not handle until they have had a few consecutive feeds. I have been gently handling both inside their vivs and have briefly handled to remove from vivs for cleaning and weighing.
Do you think they are settled enough to begin regular handling or would I be best to wait until 5 consecutive feeds?
Thanks in advance xx
( pewter girl only been here 9 days, has fed and is showing a 15g weight increase but no poop yet) xx

Thanks Hun I am like an anxious first time mum lol would not think I have kept royals and exotics for the last 10+ years!! I think the cinnabee was my concern with her being apparently a fussy feeder although I am yet to see evidence of this haha xx

To be fair she has been good as gold. I don't know if that is down to the change in habitat for her or what. She was in a very small run with single hide and teeny water bowl. She now resides in an 18" viv with plants and bidet spaces and climbing branches etc. She is a shy girl compared to the butter and pewter who always have their nose in your face when they see you lol xx
