    Thermometers working right?
I have an rhp running the length of my cage bc I have cold winters and run ac in the summer. I also use a heat mat which works with my rhp to give me a hot spot. I have my thermostat probe hanging about 4 inches from the middle of the rhp and my thermostat is set to 83 and my thermometers on the ground (one in middle of cage, one in cold hide) are both reading 82. Shouldn't my thermostat be set higher then 83 to give me a temp of 82? Just so you know my enclosure is 14" tall.
