I was wondering if anyone can tell me if they know whether it's possible to tell if you have a blue eyed Lucy while egg candling? Can you tell the difference in the color of snakes at all?

Yes, if the light is strong enough. You should be able to detect light from dark colors and whether or not there is a pattern.
