Is rapid growth healthy in a stunted adult?

I have a rescue normal female who came to me at 2-3 years old and 204g in mid January.

I've been feeding f/t rats weekly (other than breaks for shedding), 11-16% of her weight. She's been very eager each time, grabbing off the tongs as I open the viv door. Once I dropped it on the floor in front of the viv accidentally, and she leapt out of the viv after it...

But she is now 415g empty (10 days ago), and seems to be shedding almost monthly. She doesn't "look" fat and is growing in length rapidly too.

She is obviously catching up fast; should I continue weekly feeding while she is keen until she reaches a "normal" adult weight, or reduce feeding to every 10 days?

Feed as you would normally. As long as your not overfeeding her she will be fine.

She's just making up for lost time. I was making similar progress with a rescue I had a few years back, he was five years old and around 300 grams, until a roommate stole him. The roommate claimed he escaped but I could tell she was lying. Never recovered him. Good luck with your little guy!
