First year breeding BP not sure if females are gravid....????
This is my first year breeding ball pythons. I have breed both my normals to both my male lesser and male spider, and my female lesser to my male lesser. I started pairing them up in November clear into early March. I witnessed two of the 3 females ovulate. They were both huge and hard and miserable. But I didn't witness the 3rd. After they ovulated they looked like they were back to their normal size. Prior to ovulation they both ate well somewhat aggressively, then stopped. My females have stayed on the warm side but not typically coiled up. My female lesser shed around 20 days after ovulation and one of my normals shed 16 days after ovulation. My lesser is now 30 days since shed with no eggs. I'm so worried she's not gravid. I have incubator set up with multiple temp probes, hatch rite in egg box and temp at 89.2.... Can anyone tell me how long I should wait on eggs and what to do if she don't lay and still won't eat?

I've been breeding for 5 years and never keep track on this kind of stuff. It will just kill you to keep track of all that for every snake. I just offer food every week check on them once a day. If I see eggs great if I don't no worries it's just a hobby(right?) and if you say they ovulated then they'll have eggs so just check on them here and there. There's no need to keep track on specific dates. Relax a little lol

For some of us writing everything down keeps us sane. I have every lock, ovulation and prelay shed written down for the past 8 years :)

Keep an eye on your girls, if they definitely ovulated they will lay something. However, you need to remember they havent read the book so they dont know they are supposed to lay on day 30. I have one female go over 50 days after POS. Give her time.

I've wrote it all down and today I woke up at 6 a.m. to 4 beautiful perfect Lesser x Lesser eggs. She laid them day 32 after shed. I think the main reason I write it down is so I can look back next year when I start to panic and say oh yeah it's gonna be OK! Thanks to those who replied!
