    Feeding during Shed Question
I haven't had my ball python very long (maybe about a month) and he was scheduled to eat tomorrow, but his eyes just turned blue. Should I wait until his shed is over and then feed him, or should I try to feed him anyways? He normally eats every 5 days because he is still fairly young and he is pretty underweight (His old owners were underfeeding the poor thing). I mainly just don't want to risk stressing him out or the risk of regurgitation.

I offer. Sometimes they want to eat, sometimes not. I don't think regurg is a problem with shedding.

I guess I'm in the minority... I always offer on her feeding day, during shed or not, and she's never skipped a meal. Not a big deal for them to skip a meal though. You'll be fine either way.

    Re: Feeding during Shed Question
I have a collection of 20 BPs. Everyone gets fed on feeding day no matter what and I have never had a refusal for any of the animals in shed. I have actually had an animal shed minutes after feeding that ate with no problem. I guess it is up to the Bp so try it out and see how yours will react. Good Luck!! :gj:
