Morphs that stay light as adults
I am considering a third BP next fall when I get my rack. I have a normal and a pied. I would like a morph that stays light as an adult. What morphs fit this requirement and aren't super pricey (less than $400)? I know albinos have gotten low and they are on my potential list.

Banana males can be as cheap as $350, females usually go for $700 though. This is very dependent on where you live and what breeders are in your area. Some places males don't sell for less then $500.

Super Pastels are a good option.
BELs... not sure about the price though... it really depends on the morphs which the BEL was born from.
For brightness albino is a good option.

What would a banana lesser look like as an adult? Do they keep the markings, or do those fade? *looking at Royal Constrictor Designs* Problem is so many people post pics of the babies and never post pics of the adults!!

Also, what is "Fire?" Is that a pastel variant?

Anything you with fire. I personally think most fire morphs look nicer with age

Just as BCS stated, the pastel gene, bels, and albino. I would include the high contrast albino as the one to go for. Candino next then lavender albino. ;)

Just google fire ball pythons lol, fire doesn't look that great on its own but when it's combined with stuff some crazy things can happen lol. It's not a pastel variant it's part of a different leucistic "complex" when two are bred together they make a black eyed "leucistic".

Banana males are way cheaper than 350. A person can find one for 250 shipped or less. There was even a female banana mojave for sale for 500 shipped on kingsnake the other day. Check dynasty reptiles and morph market.
