    Stuck Shed Around Eye
This week my adult Ball shedded. Everything went fine except for this stubborn piece that is stuck to the top of her head and her right eye (it is visibly more grey than the left eye). I thought that if I kept her humidity around 75% that she would eventually rub it off herself, but she doesn't appear to be so inclined to do so or hasn't had any success.

Online I have read different approaches to deal with this, including waiting until her next shed and using some tape(?) to remove it from her eye. Personally, I'm not very comfortable with messing with her eye, so if it comes to that I'll find a more experienced keeper to help with that. Otherwise I'm afraid she will get an infection.

Some advice would be appreciated thanks! If you need photos I'll post them tomorrow

Don't use tape. People say that but it's a very awkward tactic to do. If you can, get that area as damp as possible and try to gently rub it off with your thumb. If it's around the eyes make sure your hands are clean. Don't try and peel it off as you might hurt her but rub it loose and be very careful. It'll eventually come off.

Whenever my snakes have issues shedding, I put them in a tub with holes drilled in the lid, and place warm water and spagnum moss in the bottom. The tub builds humidity and they can work the skin off by themselves. Super simple and easy trick, so long as you remove them before the water chills.

She looks ok. Mine has a piece of skin stuck on the side of his head, they'll get it off eventually by rubbing against the glass or branches in the enclosure. As long as most of the skin comes off fine, I don't think you have much to worry about :)

If you make sure that for next shed the temps/humidity are on point, and maybe even add a humid hide, you should be good.
