    Eating advice
Well I've had my pastel pied for a month now and still not eaten.. first week wasn't interested in the f/t mouse. 2nd week till present I try and feed every 4 days. He strikes at it multiple times, takes it right out of the tongs. Problem is he's not latching on to it. I think he's getting just as frustrated as I am .haha.
He hit the mouse 15 times tonight still nothing. I tried leaving it in there after he hits it nothing won't even go near it. I am thinking he's hungry he strikes at your hand if your not careful. My next thought was trying a live mouse. any recommendations would be great

Thaw on counter till it's time, stick in water till it's about 80-90 Ish then set under heat lamp till upper 90s try forum 100 ( I have heat gun) he did hit once and wrap but dropped as soon as he wrapped around it and left it. He gets all tense up shakes the crap out of his little tail. Strikes 5-7 times then Curls up and I heat up again.. I have tried dangling by tail, and the back, dragged by the tail.. hehe he knocks it all around .. seems likes he hasn't figured it out

Well assuming your husbandry is all correct and he has hides etc etc, he might just be doing defensive strikes and not hunger strikes. Trying to feed him every 4 days is excessive. When my girl went on her hunger strike for 5 months, I would just try a rat every 2-3 weeks. Offering food too often can stress them out making them even more reluctant to feed. Try what he was feeding on before you got him and try and replicate how they were doing it. Of course I would wait a week at the soonest before trying again. Also if that doesn't work, just lay the prey on top of his hide or on a paper plate in the cage overnight. Some snakes are shy eaters.
