BRB setup help - too big?

Hi everyone. I already own a brb. She's a beautiful little thing and near the end of May/beginning of June I'll have had her with me for a year. She's a great snake and I want to give her the best home possible.

Right now she lives in a pretty sparse tub. She's got a large water bowl, hide and humid hide and that's about it. Her substrate is paper towel. I keep it humid enough that I don't need special substrate and she likes hiding beneath the paper towel.

I have an empty PVC cage. I bought it for her at the last expo but I haven't done anything with it. I need to buy a RHP for it and get it setup but I'm wondering if it's too big for her? It's 24x24x12. I'd prefer not to clutter it up as I do need a hook to get her out of her enclosure and I don't want to have to move everything around to find and hook her... I know bp's get stressed in big open spaces but do brb's, too?

Thoughts? I would keep 2 hides in there as well as a humid hide. I also want to attach branches somehow so she can do some climbing. In her current setup she has nowhere to climb.

You should be fine. I've kept my BRB in a 28 quart (which is only a little smaller than your pvc cage) since she was a hatchling and I've never had feeding problems or noticed any stressing. I can't say I have a ton of experience with them but with the one I have its worked fine. I only have 2 hides, some small plastic fern leaves, and a water bowl. Worst comes to worse if she stops feeding just switch back to the smaller tub.

Thanks for the response. I think maybe I'll give it a try. She's pretty shy when it comes to eating anyway and won't eat in front of me even in a tub. I figure I can just cover the door and make it so she can't see out when I feed her lol. It might work better

No problem. I guess the thing to do is just try it out and see. Like I said it can't hurt. Mine eats straight off the tongs though and is not at all shy about it lol so I don't know if yours will behave the same.
