If I bought UK to US power adapter could I use a UK thermostat?

Yeah I'm trying to find some. There proportional thermostats are way cheaper then the ones in the US. I was looking at the microclimate thermostats. I couldn't find any info on there website saying they can be used in the United States so I sent them an email.

Aparently there's a US distributor for them. I looked into them awhile back, but they were more expensive. Can't remember the site though.

Is the standard probe size 12' for the herpstat? I couldn't find the info, just seen they have 12' extensions.
It should be. All the other ones are.
