    Accurate measure and one heck of a circus trick!
    I cant tell you how hard it was to train him to balance all those quarters!

    Tricky b/c stretching or tensing will temporarily change his length, but i figured this lazy S was a pretty good average. Result: about 34 - 35 inches (diameter of a quarter is .955 inches)

    Actually you can get an accurate measurement using http://www.serpwidgets.com/main/measure. Just need to take a picture of your snake with something in the picture you know the length of to use as a reference.

    Hmm, well it gave me damn near the same result. Lacks the DIY charm of my method, but on the other hand it doesn't involve spending 20 minutes messing with photoshop. 😉

    LOL....I just tried it with a picture of a Columbian red tail boa....and it told me she is 11 feet, 3 inches.

    talk about user error.

    Though now watch me try to measure her with my sewing tape. Gosh I wish I had a tripod for my camera to post the dumb things I try haha!
