How much can a snake pee?
I checked my little guy this morning (I'm avoiding giving him a name until I confirm if he is indeed a he) and his paper towel was completely soaked with what I assume was urine. I'm pretty sure it wasn't a water spill, as it was all yellow. There was also a rather sizable lump in the middle of the tub, though I don't know if it was poop, urates, or both. It was about half white. This is my first snake so this is my first experience with snake excrement, and I'm not sure yet what is normal. He just ate 4 days ago, so I don't know if that's too soon for a poop.
Re: How much can a snake pee?
I have some 250 gram babies and I use 50lb Bogus paper to line the hatchling tubs. They can evacuate enough that the entire paper is soaked and when I lift it out there is still enough urine to pour out of the tub. Sorry for the graphic imagery. It's pretty amazing though and I'm rather envious. If I could hold that much I wouldn't have to get up in the middle of the night all the time, and perhaps I could get a good nights sleep.

Yup. It's pretty remarkable just how much they can have stored up. There are a few super huge girls I have where they just unload an ungodly amount of waste.
