    Ilovebugs
Just got a crestie and have a few questions.
So at the oaks reptile show on the 19th I picked up this little guy who is a Red Harlequin crested gecko!

Will try to get a few more pics

    Questions:
How much gecko food do I feed him at a time?

Is it normal for him to be on the ground in his tank at some times?

How should I offer the food, small dish, possibly elavated, or bowl on ground?

Depends on the size 1/2 teaspoon of CGD mixed with 1 teaspoon of water for a small/young gecko is more than enough. Feed and replace the food every other day. If the food is gone start increasing the amount.

It's a matter of personal preference, I prefer elevated for a few reasons, 1 they are an arboreal species, 2 they do not soil their food as much when elevated.
