    Is my Ball Python overweight?
I have a male Ball Python who is very close to 2 years old. Currently he weighs 915 grams but has got as heavy as 950 grams in the past. Is he overweight? What's the average? I can't really find a decent weight/age chart anywhere. I feed him one mouse every week, but may increase/decrease depending on the size of the mice I currently have. (he refuses to eat rats)

1 mouse a week won't make him over weight.
2 years old and 915g. Sounds about right but hard to tell if he's under/overweight without a pic

There is no average it depends on too many factor, food amount, frequency, missed meals, fast, how fast the animal was started, weight has hatchling etc.

Instead of concentrating on a number concentrate on a healthy look.

My male is 2.5 and is at about 1050 g. Yours sounds fine.

Can you see his skin between his scales? Without a pic, it's hard to say by number alone.
