    Head stamp
How important is the head stamp when trying to identify a morph? Will each one with the same genes have the same head stamp? I'm trying to find the exact morph mine is and I'm pretty sure but I can't seem to find a picture with the same exact markings.

^^^ this, I have had normal ball pythons with head stamps, but there are specific morphs that a head stamp is an identifying marker for that specific morph. Spotnose, yellow belly, fire, vanilla etc...

It looks like it could be a humble bee which is pastel X hypo X spider with a nice reduced pattern. Or honey bee ghost X Spider. I'm just guessing I could be wrong...

He was sold to me as a desert ghost spider. Which I'm told is also called a desert hypo spider. He said he was a 3 gene.

Yep hypo and ghost are the same thing: ghost referring to the grayed-out blacks that the *hypo*melanism causes. I'm not familiar with the desert gene though so I can't comment on that part
