Eye related question/opinion
I've noticed something with eye of my ball python and I don't have a clue what it might be. As far I know it's not shedding. Last shed I've found eye caps, and as I remember ever other time too. It's about 24 hours since I've noticed it thinking stupid snake was a bit rough roaming around his place.
Any suggestions ideas or even better explanation would be welcome.

I might also add that his behavior normal and as usual. He's one nosy snake ;)

It's weird but it's true. He has shedded them. This time he was lazy or something he was hardly interesting enough to start with his head and finish before he got to his neck. Waited around 24 hours then helped him shed. I always keep previous sheds for occasions like this so I can recheck.
Here's a photo of a helmet from last shed which he removed (also mouth and heat pits) by himself everything else needed to be helped with. One before this is so destroyed that no caps were found. Beside that his previous 5 sheds were complete ...

As anyone can see eye caps are on helmet shed.
Removed the neck stuck shed yesterday while bathing him and trying to rub off the eye cap. Without success so that's why he went to see vet.
His regular temps are around 50% +/- few ofcoz. And they get bumped to +70% when in shed.

However it's not a first snake and it's been few years and it never happened before, but as far I understand that happens from time to time to snakes with bulgy eyes. It just didn't look like stuck shed. But he tried to remove it and he scratched his eye a bit. Vet gave me some eye drops that I need to administer once a week till his next shed.
Thanks god it's not O. Hannah which I helped with bad shed and she even had both eye caps stuck. Sadly I was not paying enough attention to the procedure while master removed the eye caps. I was somewhat more worried about my safety while holding the body :)
Hope this helps to anyone trying to recognize stuck eye caps.
