Champagne butter fire and friends
Hey! Haven't been on this forum for a while and due to work I havent had the time to keep a large collection so I have had to slim it down. Currently I only keep eight snakes, and here are three favorites. Quality isnt great since my camera is at my girlfriends house so I had to use my cellphone, but I hope you can enjoy the pics anyway!
First up is a Champagne butter fire male about 6 months old. Hoping to breed him next season, he eats like a champ.

Second up is my Blonde pastel butter enchi blaze 50% ph pied female.

And last but not least my 2014 Super blaze butter fire female which I am also hoping to breed the coming season, shes a little over 1200g.

For those who are wondering about the blaze its a fairly new subtle enhancing gene originating here in Sweden. Doesnt seem to be allelic to any other genes (atleast not so far) but I do think it cleans up patterns and lightens colors a bit.
Thanks for looking:)

I know what I mean. The other day I almost picked up another baby ball but decided against it. It can be super addictive to keep these guys!
Do You feed frozen now? I would like to try it again but he just goes on strike if I offer anything but live :/
Anyhow, your morphs are stunners, and the best part is that they look healthy :3

Yeah I only feed frozen/thawed. Actually, here in Sweden feeding living rodents to any reptile or other animal was made illegal a couple of years ago due to the suffering of the rodent being relatively slowly killed by the snake/other animal.
The law has never been enforced as far as I know, it's just kinda one of those laws who exists to encourage people to feed f/t to minimize suffering of the rodents.
And thank you for the complimenting my animals:D

I don't feed live, but how do you legislate against a natural prey/predator relationship? They prefer the slow death of a starving snake that refuses to eat F/T? Seems a bit silly to waste time of legislature in such a manner. How do they know the deaths of the rats is humane prior to shipping? Ehhh, well anyways im off topic a bit. Gorgeous snakes! I love your blaze combos, haven't seen many.

I of course know what you mean and do feel the same way on some level. However, nature isn't always good, in fact, nature is fairly often very cruel. So I think minimizing suffering, natural or not, must generally be considerad a good thing. But as you said; kinda waste of time. Then again, it's politics, wasting time is a big part of what they do;)
Since I actually sent us off topic im gonna try to put us right back whit a pic of a blonde pastel super enchi blaze which is a sister to the blonde pastel butter enchi blaze I posten before.
