    What Subspecies Of Boa?
    Hello!

I have a BCI Boa (Kaa) that I recently purchased, the person I bought it from at the reptile show knew nothing about it (age, sex, etc). My question is, can anyone tell what subspecies it is? At first I thought Colombian, but the tail seems very orangish and there is some pink blushing along the sides that don't really show up in pictures. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I don't plan on breeding Kaa or anything so it's not all that relevant, I'm just very curious. I'll attach a photo below.

    Thanks!

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new Boa Matthew. :)

I'm no Boa expert, but yours looks very similar to my Columbian.

Unless you can find the breeder, your best guess is a normal Colombian BI. People can guess all that one as to it "might" have this or that in it but it's just that, guesses. Nice looking looking guy/gal though.
