    Maintenance feeding
I just got a snake yesterday and she weighed in at 94 grams. She was hatched in October 2015. I also have another snake I got in december 2015. He was also hatched in october 2015. He is currently 218 grams. The new snake appears healthy and acting normal so I'm not really worried. But the snake I had since December gets 1 meal a week. Nothing fancy and no power feeding. How common is maintenance feeding, what is the general attitude towards it and when does it become a problem?

How common? Over the years I have seen many breeders maintenance feeding their animals to cut cost down.

What do I think about it? Not my thing and I feed my animals appropriate size prey once a week because the way I feel is that if you can't afford to feed it, don't breed it.
