Who would be interested in Beta testing an Access database for Husbndry
First off I would like to say I am not selling anything. That being said, I am looking for a few people to help me test a beta database for the husbandry of ball pythons. You must have at least 10 BP's and be experienced. Once I get closer to finishing I will sent the beta copy out to you in exchange for your feedback both negative and positive. I have tried degei and just found it confusing. Inbox me for information and or suggestions of what should be included. To the moderators if I put this in the wrong section please let me know. If I broke any rules let me know please.

Made the switch to Reptile Scan, it offers more than most will need.

Ah Is that a monthly service type thing?

It's a cell phone app that costs 25 dollars one time. You can upgrade the service to get more features but it's not necessary. The upgrade costs 4 bucks a month and has better prices for longer periods of time (250 for lifetime pro).
I haven't used it yet (I've been using Snake Keeper, which was something like 5 bucks to have unlimited snakes I think), but the main draw to it and the one I use is that it's on my phone. My computer is less than 10 feet from my snake rack but I'm not going to go back and forth between the two to record weights, poops, feeding, etc. Sometimes I weigh rats before hand, sometimes I feed and then leave the room nice and dark for them to swallow, or sometimes I forget to put something in and since my phone is in my pocket I do it right then, where I'm less likely to go across the house just to enter in a feed/shed/poop. The other thing reptile scan does is use barcodes, so instead of scrolling through a list of snakes to find the one that you fed or something you just scan the snake's id card and you don't have to worry about errors.

Yeah I hate going back and forth as well. Thanks again for the info.

I'm not sure my data base would need a QR feature. It is geared toward smaller scale breeders.
