    well that's a bummer....
Since I got Trigger in early January he hasn't refused a meal once.... tonight it was the first no-go. i have a feeling it was cuz I slacked off & let the humidity drop to about 45%. I shoulda done some housekeeping & misted last night. I should probably do a tank cleaning, too. i spotted a couple clumps of urates hidin in there. guess it's time to spot clean the substrate.

i threw the mouse back in the freezer & am gonna give it another whirl tomorrow night.

the interesting thing is once he smelled the mouse he was VERY interested & came out almost right away... came out a good 6" lookin all around.... i put the mouse in there, holding it w/ my ghetto tongs & he struck almost IMMEDIATELY, but missed pretty bad :P after that i made the mouse do a little jigg for a while & he slowly went from interested to "uhg, leave me alone" :thumbsdow

My only suggestion would be with prey heat. He may have missed because the prey may have been cold. A hair dryer for like two minutes on the head will work or heating additionally with light or heating pad. My guy missed, i threw the mouse under a hairdryer for like two minutes and presto!
    other than that who knows?
sometimes a snake just won't eat, just watch his size and check vent and mouth and go to the vet if it lasts a while or you haven't been in a year or so. Or who knows maybe he'll eat next feeding attempt (might want to wait a day or two just to prevent additional stress).

mouse was warm enough... definitely warmer than my hand. i'm not too worried, just bummed he finally ended his streak ;) i'll mist before hand, get the humidity back up to par for next time.... and i'll be suprised if he doesn't take it then... if he doesn't, then i MIGHT start worrying :P
